American Red Cross Celebrates Promotion Of Local Leader SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (August 15, 2018) – The American Red Cross announced the promotion of Jennifer Ross, the current Executive Director of the Eastern South Dakota chapter. Ross has accepted a position with the national organization, based in Washington, D.C., to join the Training and Development team. She will work with Red Cross staff across the country and will remain based in South Dakota. “Jennifer has shown extraordinary leadership in Eastern South Dakota and we are happy to see recognition of her hard work,” said Lynn Speral, CEO of the Dakotas Region of the American Red Cross. “We are pleased that Jennifer’s talents will continue to benefit the Red Cross and are celebrating this move within our organization.” Over the past three years, the Eastern South Dakota chapter of the Red Cross has responded to hundreds of disasters, mostly home fires, providing comfort and support to those affected.
