Lindemann has played in every major concert venue in the world, from the Philharmonics of New York, Los Angeles, London and Berlin to Tokyo and even at the Great Wall of China. Now, Lindemann comes to Yankton to play with his backup trio at the Yankton High School Theatre on Wednesday, April 17, at 7:30 p.m. This concert is presented by the Yankton Area Concert Association. Lindemann’s career has ranged from appearing internationally as orchestral soloist, recording with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir to playing lead trumpet with the renowned Canadian Brass and even a command performance for the Queen of England. Lindemann was classically trained at Juilliard. Lindemann has recorded for BMG, EMI, CBC and the BBC. Born in Germany but now a resident of Los Angeles, Lindemann is internationally endorsed by the Yamaha Corporation and performs exclusively on 24K gold plated trumpets.
