Athletic HOF – This category includes Yankton High School alumni whose accomplishments on the fields of competition sets them apart from their peers at the high school, university, or professional levels. Potential inductees must be out of HS for 10 or more years. It also includes non-alumni who have made significant contributions to Yankton High School as a member of the staff, coaches, administration, volunteers, or the general public. School personnel must have a 5 year waiting period after employment ends. Fine Arts HOF – This category includes Yankton High School alumni whose Fine Arts accomplishments set them apart from their peers at the high school, university, or professional levels. Potential inductees must be out of HS for 10 or more years. It also includes non-alumni who have made significant contributions to Yankton High School as a member of the staff, administration, volunteers, or the general public.
